www.nice-aeroport.fr

An economic mission led by Team Côte d’Azur (the economic promotion agency for the French Riviera, founded by the Chamber of Commerce Nice Côte d’Azur and regional council of the Alpes Maritimes department) took off from the 10th to 13th May on the new direct route for Atlanta, home of many multinationals such as Delta Air Lines, Coca Cola, UPS, and CNN.

The aim of this delegation* is to promote the French Riviera as a destination for both holiday and business tourism as well as to forge and develop relations with American businesses, draw up partnerships, and to further exchanges with an economic capital which plays a leading role in the high tech sector.

Acropolis was represented by its commercial manager, Madame Rose-Marie Nannipieri, at the launching of this new route. This direct link between two capitals with a similar profile should contribute to the economic development of our region and reinforce the dynamic of growth in the market of business congresses and conventions.

*Delegation composed of the Chamber of Commerce, the regional council, Team Côte d’Azur, the tourist office, Maison de la France, some of the major companies implanted in the Provence Côte d’Azur region including Texas Instruments, the CERAM business management school at Sophia Antipolis, the Financial Times and the regional daily paper Nice-Matin, and representations from Cannes and Monaco.
